Mac “companion” ad
Below is a video capture I grabbed from Toronto Star’s website, featuring a very noticeable ad from Mac. Notice how one ad unit (the main video), is connected to another ad unit (the sign). Very interesting. (sorry for the poor quality, it’s just for illustrative purposes).

Apple also created a special landing page for the campaign, specifically targeted to the same audience (switchers from PC to Mac). And, yes I know how tacky it is to be commenting on advertising, directly next to the crisis in Myanmar. If you’d like to donate to the cause, the red cross is accepting donations.
